AuSable River
Fishing on the AuSable River whether it be shore fishing, driftboat fishing or off the pierhead in Oscoda has been excellent for Steelhead and also a few Walleye. Anglers are using waxworms and spawn for bait.

Foote & Cooke Dam Ponds
Fishing at Cooke and Foote pond are bringing in a few panfish,using waxworms and wigglers for bait.

Lake Huron
Steelhead are being caught at the river mouth here in Oscoda along with Walleye. Anglers are using waxworms and worms.

Van Etten Lake/ Cedar Lake
Fishing out on Van Ettan has been excellent for Walleye and Perch. The bait to use is crawler harnesses. Out on Cedar Lake they are catching pan fish, using small minnows and worms.
